Larry Plotkin

President, Precision Plant Systems, Inc.

Larry Plotkin is the immediate past-president of the board of the Business Enterprise Center, and a client.  Larry is the president of Precision Plant Systems, Inc.– a precision agricultural instrumentation start-up that is commercializing a hand-held plant nitrogen sensing technology from OSU (www.precisionplantsystems.com).  He left Hewlett-Packard in June of 2005 after a successful 25 year career to pursue entrepreneurial interests.  He spent the following 18 months as the vice-president for the start-up of the Inkjet inks operation at Mitch inc, a small Oregon-based company specializing in ‘all things Inkjet’  (www.imtech-or.com).  At HP Larry pioneered an ‘entrepreneurial’ process to leverage HP’s core inkjet-based physical science, scale-up and business competencies into new businesses.  You may visit Precision Plant Systems at the BEC.
